Hispaman Xtreme Triathlon begins on the Mediterranean coast of Castellón and winds much of its way through the interior of the province, one of the most mountainous of Spain. The fouth edition will be on September 24.

The swim (3.800 meters) begins at dawn on the beach in Peñíscola with the starting line on the North Beach and finishes in the port, after swimming round the legendary castle.

The cycling (180 km) starts at sea level and goes towards the area of Els Ports and Alt Maestrat with an elevation gain of 3,400 meters. At this altitude, the running race leaves Culla on forest paths and roads. With 2,000 meters of cumulative elevation gain, it rises up to Vistabella.

Athletes who arrive at km 29,5 of the running after the cut-off time will be able to reach the finish line by an alternative circuit with less elevation gain.
